Our story began on a dance floor at Kuliama in Tel Aviv.

In the middle of the music and flashing lights, Emily met Alon — who, for reasons still unclear, decided to pretend he was very shy. Once you meet Alon, you realize how funny that actually is. .

What started as a fun night out quickly turned into something much deeper. Between late-night conversations, endless laughter, we realized we had found something special.

Together, we have taken a leap of faith — moving back to Toronto together to build a new life. It wasn’t always easy. Starting over in a new country came with challenges, uncertainty, and a lot of hard work. But we faced it side by side, supporting each other every step of the way.

Somewhere between chasing dreams and building our future, we have created something sweet (Hello Midnight Cookie). Building a business strengthened our partnership in ways we never imagined. It taught us patience, resilience, and the power of truly being a team.

From Tel Aviv to Toronto, from a crowded club to running a business, our journey has been filled with love, growth, and a little bit of sugar.

Now, we’re so excited to begin our next chapter — as husband and wife — surrounded by the people who have supported us, encouraged us, and believed in us along the way.
